This simple solution prevents inside corner
cracking when installed against a ceiling
or concrete deck that may be subject to
movement, to be used alongside backing
materials in the head-of-wall gap for
a code-compliant assembly. Its flexible
gasket compresses and expands, providing
protection for up to ½” of deflection, while its
tear-off strip leaves a clean finished edge.

common crack points in homes. These joints span between walls and ceilings, which
shift independently with changes in temperature and humidity. If a rigid bead or
even paper tape is used, cracking is likely as the surfaces move apart. A vinyl bead
