In 1969, Joseph Koenig, Sr. fired up the first extruder
making J Beads, and officially gave life to Trim-Tex
Drywall Products.
Over 50 years later, we still make J Beads — along with
hundreds of other drywall solutions, exterior finishing
beads and fire-rated, sound-abating innovations.
Trim-Tex corner beads and accessories are the
most durable in their class, with unmatched quality
standards. Their standardized, efficient install process
saves time and materials — and our award-winning
Customer Solutions team is always here to help.
Through the years, Trim-Tex has grown to its present
location in Lincolnwood, IL, and we’ve added another
production facility in Miami, FL, and a west-coast
distribution warehouse in Orange, CA.
So, yes, a lot has changed since that original extruder
started pumping out its first J Beads. One thing
has never changed, however: Whether you’re a
